Born in Athens, Greece. Graduated from the Athens University (Faculty of Law). Postgraduate studies in the University of Southampton, England on Maritime Law and EEC Law.
Legal Counsel in major shipowning and insurance companies in Greece. Member of the Hellenic Association of Maritime Lawyers , Association Hellenique de Droit Maritime (member of the Board of Directors), Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), the Piraeus Marine Club, the Piraeus Yacht Club. External Lecturer of the Malta International Maritime Organization (IMO). Former Vice-Governor of the Institute of Social Fund (IKA). Member of the Institute of Democracy “Konstantinos Karamanlis”. Member in numerous Associations and Professional and Scientific Working Committies. He has also published a great number of articles and commentaries in various legal periodicals. He has extensive litigation experience in all fields of marine claims, all kind of transportation aspects (sea, road and air), commercial and corporate disputes, vessels and yachts acquisition and financing, mergers and acquisitions and environmental law issues. Also he has a vast experience in foreign investment programs under the existing Greek Developing Laws as well as local investment programs in foreign countries.
